Start thinking about your pension early. Look carefully at the choices you have. Also think about having calculations made for the choices you are considering.
On the website www.mijnpensioenoverzicht, you can get an idea of how much your pension will be if you choose for it to start two years before you start receiving your AOW or on your 67th birthday. The website displays the total amount of pension you have accrued at your employer(s) and your AOW. You might also have made your own arrangements.

Applying for your pension
You decide when you want your pension to start. We will advise you at least six months before you turn 67 that you can apply for your pension. If you would like your pension to start earlier, contact us:

check your total pension via www.mijnpensioenoverzicht.nl. You see the total amount of pension you accrued, including the state pension (AOW) and pensions you accrued with other employers.
