Together with your employer, you pay a contribution for your pension

Every month, an amount is paid to the pension fund. Your employer pays most of it. You also pay a part yourself: your own contribution. This part is deducted from your gross salary.

Your part is 9.8% of the pension base.
Witteveen+Bos pays 17.8% of the pension base.

The pension base is the part of your salary that counts towards your pension.
