You have several choices when you apply for a pension. An important choice is when you want your pension to start. The earliest you can do that is on your 55th birthday; the latest is on your 67th birthday.

Pension transfer

Another choice you have relates to what is called ‘pension transfer’ (or ‘waardeoverdracht’ in Dutch). This involves taking the pension you have accrued elsewhere and transferring it to Witteveen+Bos’s pension fund.

Carefully compare your old and new schemes before deciding whether pension transfer is right for you. You can do this using Pension 1-2-3. If you choose to transfer your pension to Witteveen+Bos’s pension fund, fill in the pension transfer form and send it to pfwitteveenbos@appelpensioen.nl. We will then ask your old pension provider how much pension you accrued and make you a proposal. If you agree with this proposal, your pension will be transferred to Witteveen+Bos’s pension fund as soon as possible.
